K-Mart In Trouble
A recent news report is stating that K-Mart & Sears Closings will happen in the new year. Between 100 and 120 stores could close. This story doesn't matter to some collectors, but others still have K-Mart as a major retail player in their area, and the news is disappointing for sure. Any time a retailer leaves the market, there is less competition.

Discounts Begin... Sort Of
We've gotten a couple reports of Wal-Mart cutting prices on Star Wars toys by near 50% Off, and judging by other reports, this appears to be nationwide! Target, on the other hand, is also clearancing some Star Wars, but I've personally not seen the price cuts at my stores. So theirs may not be as widespread as Wal-Mart's shelf-clearing. Happy hunting!
