Thank you for visiting Premier Collectible Auctions! Our company specializes in investment grade collectible action figures, toys, comics, & other pop culture memorabilia from the 1960’s to the present day. Our first live auction will be held July 24-26, 2008 in San Diego, California, within walking distance of the San Diego Comic-Con convention. Bidding will also be conducted online and by phone. Our first auction will include some of the finest AFA graded toy collections in the world, with merchandise nearly $2,000,000 in value!

Bid online at Premiercollect.com starting May 1st, 2008.

You can order a copy of the Catalogue at this link premiercollect.com

Wow! Some very nice stuff & worth checking out but some of the opening prices are well high for the mid collector. FOr the hard core collector, a great chance to get some nice stuff. Tho most of the stuff is AFA graded... blah but still eye candy.

Sell that modern crap gang & take out a loan/mortgage or hope to win that lottery, you'll need it.  ;D

Vintage Kenner / Star Wars Merch Circa 1979 Video on starwars.com

Star Wars Merch Circa 1979

Quote
Ah, the things you come across digging through old videotapes. We're not exactly sure what this 11-minute promotional video was used for, but when we came across a dusty cassette in our archives that read "Star Wars and Empire Merchandise Promos 11/3/79," we couldn't resist a peek.

Actually shot in September 1979, the filmed footage (presented here in two parts) offers a rare glimpse at nearly all of the domestic Star Wars merchandise released up to late 1979 from early licensees such as Kenner, Clarks Shoes, Factors, Don Post Studios, King Seeley Thermos, Deka, and dozens of others. There are a few international licensees mixed in too.

A few items hardcore collectors might want to look out for include the ultra rare Regal/Kenner Chewbacca hand puppet, the X-wing Aces target game, and Roman Ceramics' C-3PO cookie jar -- all pretty tough finds these days. The only Empire item we spotted was the soundtrack album, which itself is a mock-up since the film wasn't due out for another eight months at the time this footage was shot.

Even if you're not a collector, it's interesting to take stock of all that Star Wars had to offer consumers just two years after its release, a collection that today represents just a fraction of what's available.

So, set 11 minutes out of your schedule to enjoy a look back at Star Wars merchandising at the tender age of two, when stuffed Wookiees looked like teddy bears and "mint in box" still meant something you picked up on the candy aisle.

From theraider.net

Kotobukiya will be releasing two Indiana Jones ARTFX statues in May 2008! One statue of Indiana Jones and a second of Henry Jones, Senior. Apparently the Indiana Jones ARTFX statue comes with a removable hat/alternate head, a replaceable left arm and a replaceable right hand. The also amazing looking Henry Jones, Senior ARTFX statue comes with a replaceable umbrella.

Just checking Amazon.ca & came across this:

The Star Wars Vault: Thirty Years of Treasures from the Lucasfilm Archives, with Removable Memorabilia and Two Audio CDs (Hardcover)

Hardcover: 128 pages.

Book Description

The Star Wars Vault: Thirty Years of Treasures from the Lucasfilm Archives, With Removable Memorabilia and Two Audio CDs by Stephen J. Sansweet and Peter Vilmur (HarperEntertainment; on-sale October 30, 2007; $85.00) is the official illustrated book celebrating this year's 30th anniversary of George Lucas' first Star Wars movie, and includes removable reproductions of memorabilia, along with two CDs containing vintage radio ads, original cast interviews, George Lucas' commentary, and even Carrie Fisher singing in the Star Wars Holiday Special.

The Star Wars Vault is the insider's look at the development and making of all six movies, and the huge cultural impact they've had. In addition to hundreds of photos and pieces of artwork, the book includes fifty interactive, rare, and some never-before-seen pieces of memorabilia.

Among the book's features are:

The special questionnaire for the first and only test screening of the original Star Wars — and the invitation to attend it
George Lucas' hand-written treatment for The Empire Strikes Back
Lucasfilm Christmas cards
Iron-on T-shirt transfer
The very first concept sketch drawn for Star Wars
Blueprints of Star Wars vehicles and sets
Original hand-written directions for ground-breaking special effects

The Star Wars Vault is the ultimate, one-of-a-kind insider's look into the sensation that launched a phenomenon that includes six feature films; two spin-off films; three television series with more to come; and an extensive collection of licensed books, comics, video games, action figures, trading cards, and many other products worldwide.

Amazon.ca: $36.98 & Amazon.com: $53.55.

I'll have to pick this up, looks interesting & way bloody cheaper than what Amazon.com wants.  ::)

I have a vintage AT-ST French Meccano Scout Walker up for sale. I'm asking $30. US plus shipping.

The box is beat up a bit with edge wear, creases, some surface tears, writing on top & has no inserts. The instructions are in english (the way I received it) & the AT-ST is missing the top gun. Has some yellowing due to age.

The side guns click & rotate, the front guns are a bit bent & the stand/walk button works just fine. Decals are applied & the AT-ST needs cleaning (dusty). I sure someone could clean this up & have a very nice piece to display.  :).

Please see pictures.
