Sorry I'm a little late with my RAW thoughts!
First, I have this weeks
SmackDown! Spoilers.
Second, I have a HUGE RAW spoiler for next week involving Kane, and a returning "superstar".
http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2003_/articles/1058921321.phpOnto the RAW Review:
Let me start off hy saying that I HATE Randy Orton's push. He is NOT the future. I see more potential in John Cena. I bet that DDP cringes everytime he sees Orton mess up the Diamond Cutter (RKO, but I call it the RK-Blow).
That being said, onto the review.
PROS:
-HBK/Jericho match. It seemed like an old-school 1996/97 match. Excellent match overall, except for the Evolution interference. Gave RAW a boost in the grade.
-They are starting the Summerslam fueds, even though the Goldberg/HHH feud is already boring.
-RVD vs. Kane. More of a spot fest than a match, but Kane slamming RVD into the stage and the stage exploding was cool. Kane going psycho on Arn Anderson, King, and Linda was cool too.
-Booker T vs. Test, mainly because of Stacy.
CONS:
-Randy Orton's push. I don't see anything in this guy. He is NOT the future like everyone says he is. Cena has better mic skills and better wrestling ability. Cena is the future.
-The whole Kane House Arrest thing. It was so fake. I did some research, and they only let you go to your job, house, and grocery store (or any other necessary place). They don't fly you to a different state, and they don't tie you up in chains. The only realistic thing was the ankle bracelet thing.
-Women's Tag Match. Many missed moves and such.
-Lance Storm "Segment". Way to give Storm a push WWE.
-Ending of IC Title match. They're making Booker look weak.
-Where were the Tag Champs? Dudleyz? I noticed that most of the guys I wanted to see wrestle were in the last backstage segment, but we had to witness a pointless Orton segment instead of wrestling matches.
-The opening segment was pretty pointless.
-Coach at commentary.
I give this week's edition of RAW a
B-. It didn't pick up until the second hour, and I bet that either Vince or Shane will be on RAW next week to confront Kane for what he did to Linda.
