Thanks for the pictures!  Both sets look great.  I'm going to have to save up for both.  I was trying to talk myself out of wanting the 4th Doctor set, but there's just too much there that I want (or can justify getting).  Very cool stuff.

I had ordered the 3rd Doctor under the impression that he would ship immediately. A few days later, I got an apology from the company stating that they neglected to list the 3rd Doctors as pre-order shipping in November.  :P

Really unusual find yesterday - the 6th Doctor newly regenerated at TRU.

Not sure if you guys had heard, but there's a 3.75" line of Doctor Who action figures scheduled for next year.  Apparently, an Underground Toys employee tweeted a picture of two figures from the line and Jason from The Terrordrome posted it.  It's the new Doctor and a Dalek.

I don't know if I'd be in for any of the humans, but I'd love me some Dalek figures and maybe a Cyberman to face off with the droids.  Put a Slitheen in the Cantina or Jabba's Palace...and who doesn't want a Weeping Angel action figure?

Who would win in a fight? R2-D2 or a Dalek?

Would love me some well-made Dr. Who figures in 3-3/4" 'cause... well, Jenna-Louise Coleman is smokin'.

The toys were shown at the London Toy Fair at the end of January. Here's someone's youtube vid of the various lines.

a few pics of the 3-3/4". http://www.doctorwhotoys.net/news.htm

The Dalek and Cyberman look worthy of being displayed next to Hasbro's SW. Not so the the humans. The face sculpts are decent but the rest of the body lack the "life" that Hasbro's able to inject in SW. They are about on par with Playmates 5" Star Trek.

Haven't read if these will hit brick-and-mortar in the US.

I'd definitely take a 4" scale Dalek, maybe a Cyberman figure also.

Anyone else still collecting Doctor who? I've picked up some of the 3 3/4 figures. Been happy to be finding them in Walgreens, though it seems like the line is dying down a little.

They didn't have much of a run at Walgreens or TRU. Now that I think of it, I bought most of what I have online from whona.com and eBay.

Still hope they make a return to the brick-and-mortar, though I would stay away at the price TRU initially had 'em.
