That is a thing of beauty Rob! Are they all free standing? I've got to paint my Gangan someday like yours.

Thanks!

Yeah, all free standing, although there are a handful of figures that can't manage that... battle droids and such.  Lots of them are just leaning slightly up against the risers for support.

As for the Gargan, This one was cast some time after Ryan's initial run, so it's the only one with that paint job to the best of my knowledge.

After two years, I took new photos last weekend... so I updated the first post.  Thinned out about 100 troops, dusted everything and painted all the risers that weren't black.  One of the few benefits of having your wife spending time overseas is that you suddenly have room in your schedule for something like this.

Really nice, Rob.  It's photos like these that I need to share with my wife who thinks I have the largest SW collection in the world to prove mine is just a fraction of this.

I don't know how long I just spent looking at all those pics, but it was worth it.  ;)

Just magnificent, truly. I see so many things in there I want! (One day...)

Wow, Rob, there aren't many people that could make so many hundreds of figures look so organized.  And the busts look great in those Detolfs.  8)

Cool setup Rob!  I love how you've organized the figures into scenes/groups.  I tried something similar organizing the figures by release date at my old house.  I liked having them by series (POTF2, POTJ, SAGA, etc.), but it looks way more confused and makes it much harder to see figure evolution or pairings.  I think I'm going to go this route if/when I ever get around to my loose displays.  Nice work!

From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

Yep, you need some 3-3/4" scale paper bags to go over Mutt's head on those figures. :)

Yeah very nicely put together Rob...  Wow man.  It's tough to make this stuff not look...  uh, cluttered.  Somehow you pulled that off.

I know.  If you look closely, you'll see items from The Phantom Menace too.   :-X

Thanks.  I was more or less just trying to go in order... EU at the top, then E1-E6.  I'd eventually like to have a slightly bigger space.  I've also got a ****-ton of legos (Star Wars (OT only) and classic Space, Pirate, and Castle) all boxed up. Quite frankly I'll probably need at least twice the room that I have.

TPM is a little more forgivable...f course this is coming from a guy who has an entire shelf dedicated to the Gungan vs Battle Droid ground battle!  :D
