It might be a bit of a stretch to call Eric Gordon an "absolute stud" at this point.  http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4469  He is an above average player at this point.

Absolute studs include Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul.  Guys like that.

I really wish the NBA wouldn't have had a season. I think I'm going to boycott the sort this year. My fiancee is going to want to watch the Nuggets but I'm going to pass. I'll probably get tempted around playoff time, but what's the point if they are just going to lose in the first round anyways? ::)

Depending on how the Wolves do, the pick included in that trade will probably be top 5

Someone is going to need to explain to me why Kevin love is 6' 10" and can rip down 15 boards a night, but cannot block a shot.

Sorry to invade the thread, but I need to rant for a minute.  Since the beginning of the year, DirectTV has been blacking out the Bulls games on Comcast Sports Net Chicago (one of my Regional Sports Networks along with Fox Sports North).  So I called them a couple times and they couldn't explain to me why this was happening (I did see the games that were played between Christmas and New Years Day on CSN).  The only thing they could say was that it must be a local blackout.  Tonight I called one last time to get things straightened out because I really wanted to watch the game with my sons who have just started playing basketball.  After about 45 minutes on the phone with them having to talk to several people, they informed me that the NBA is no longer allowing DirectTV to include the Bulls as one of my Regional sports teams.  Therefore, I will no longer get any Bulls game on CSN Chicago, but I will continue to still get the Blackhawks, White Sox and Cubs games that are played on CSN because those are still included as one of my regional teams.  Oh, and because I'm getting FSN, I still get Brewers, Bucks and Wild games.  So basically, I'm getting every team that plays in the tri-state area with the exception of the Bulls because the pricks in the NBA think it's better to make their fans buy League Pass than broadcast regional games.  Great way to keep your fan base during a year where you are already suffering with your image NBA.

Again, my apologies for the rant, now back to your regularly scheduled discussion...

We really weren't having one.

My advice is to call DirectTV back one more time and tell them to come to your house and pick up their ****, and cancel your service.

Then sign up for cable or another dish network that carries the games.

Both were just ridiculous.  Blake Griffin's was my favorite of the two though.  As someone who spent countless hours watching and practicing dunks with my buddy in HS/college, these are two of the better ones I've ever seen I think.  It is crazy what some of these guys can do these days.

Agreed.  Amazing things happen when you are between 6' 8" and 6' 10" and on performance enhancing drugs.

First thing I thought about when I saw "Rubio tears ACL" on the sports ticker was that post above. Ouch.

I'm beyond sick of Meta World Peace's (  ::) ) antics.

Can we just suspend that jagoff for the rest of the year?
