6" Black Series Rumors

Glad to see two of those.  Dooku has been on my list for almost as long as the Black Series has been around.  And with 20 years having passed since TPM, it might be time for Jar Jar, too.  I'm wondering if a young Anakin or Padme might be in the works, too.

6" Black Series First Editions found

So many variants coming this Fall - 6" basic release, chase "First Editions" repacks in white boxes, and store exclusive "Carbonized" edition figures with metallic deco and metallic boxes.

For example, for The Mandalorian there are least three that are confirmed:

Black Series 6" The Mandalorian (Black Box)
"First Edition" 6" The Mandalorian (White Box)
"Carbonized" 6" The Mandalorian (Copper Box with metallic highlight deco, Target exclusive)

Jayson posted confirmation that all eight figures in Wave 1 will have the "First Edition" white box chases and then a selection of figures will get the "Carbonized" deco variants - Second Sister (Black Metallic - Gamestop), Sith Trooper (Red Metallic - TBD), The Mandalorian (Copper Metallic - Target), First Order Jet Trooper (Pearl Metallic - TBD).

Anyone planning to chase all of these down this Fall?  Will you wait and check out the decos on the "carbonized" versions before picking one to open?

Can you and those in the know clarify the "Carbonized" option?  Is that a carbonized box, or are the figures carbonized to have different deco?

I don't care about packaging variations, but might care about actual figure deco differences.

I'm assuming all of these have the same accessories in them and they're not offering different pack-ins, or are they?

Carbonized figures are the same sculpt and paint but have a metallic sheen/pearlessence to the figure, it's clear when side by side. The packaging is dependent on the figure but the Mandalorian is in a copper metallic ink box instead of black.

Have you seen both side by side?  Is it compelling and worth tracking down? 

Seems like a pain in the butt to have so many packaging and deco variations for something like this.

This is an interesting development.  But it can also come across like a serious attempt at a cash grab by Hasbro with all of these packaging variants.

2. I keep seeing this word pearlessence, which apparently is not actually a word. WTH does that mean?
